Mitchell House is a formally trained sculptor, a pupil of Sydney Harpley RA and Kenneth Ford. His work primarily focuses on movement in the human form and within nature. His work is seen in collections around the world and his commissioned public art pieces within the UK

Commission to design lighting for Enderby Hall Leicestershire for Mr Robert McGowan.
1982 - 1st one man exhibition - Bosworth College Leicestershire. Purchase of sculpture by Leicestershire Education Authority

1983 - 2nd one man exhibition - Bosworth College. Sculpture purchased by College

1996 - Moved to Norfolk and founded North Norfolk Iron Crafts (bespoke). Commissions to design and construct a variety of sculptures and monuments.

Artist Statement of Mitchell House

The process begins with initail drawings and observations, then modelling from life in clay. I aim to capture the stillness that is caught within the blink of an eye that activates the emotional pathways of the soul
